Description
Meule de la Dent du Chat, an artisanal cheese from Savoie, is crafted from whole raw cow’s milk and traditionally transformed and aged in the region. As a cooked pressed cheese, it offers a firm yet creamy texture with rich, robust Alpine aromas. Its wooden‑board aging — from 6 to 8 months, 10 to 12 months, or up to 15 months — develops a deep and evolving flavor profile, ranging from smooth milky notes to more intense, lingering mountain character. Sold as a whole wheel, in 1/4, 1/8, or 1/32 portions, and also available in an organic version, it shines on a cheese board or melted into Savoyard dishes for a bold, authentic taste.
